PREMIUM BOOKING PROTECTION POLICY
These are the terms for the Platinium Group Premium Booking Protection Policy. It is advisable for you to read and understand the conditions prior to your purchase. Please note that this Premium Booking Protection Policy acts as coverage for a specified duration that begins from when you buy your ticket to the day before the first day of the event at midnight GMT+1. Any incidents taking place during the event itself will not be covered by this policy.
This POLICY is intended to detail the coverage that is outlined below in Article 2 “Nature of the POLICY”. It is not mandatory for you to subscribe to this POLICY
ARTICLE 1 - DEFINITIONS
TICKET HOLDER: the person with an event ticket who signed up for the POLICY at the time of ticket purchase.
EVENT COVERED: any sporting event in which there is a subscription to the POLICY for the corresponding tickets.
EVENT START: The first day of the event (i.e. Friday or Thursday; the event dates can be checked on our website)
ARTICLE 2 - NATURE OF THE POLICY
The Premium Booking Protection needs to be selected per ticket during the booking process. The maximum number of premium booking protections allowed has to match the number of products purchased. It is possible, however, to add fewer premium booking protections than tickets purchased.
Platinium Group will issue a compensation of up to 100% of the price of the covered event ticket. Fees such as instalment, handling, delivery or banking fees and booking protection or flexi-option costs are non-refundable.
Please note that this policy is valid for any reason, up to midnight GMT+1 the day before the event starts.
ARTICLE 3 - EXCLUSIONS
The policy is not applicable in the following circumstances:
The event is being cancelled, postponed, and/or held behind closed doors due to epidemics, pandemics, quarantine, natural and man-made disasters and any circumstances leading to force majeure.
Civil or foreign war, declared or not, riots, popular movements, acts of terrorism, and the conscious non-observance of official prohibitions.
ARTICLE 4 - CLAIMS PROCEDURE
In the case of e-tickets or mobile tickets, if the Premium Booking Protection has been applied, the tickets will be voided and the ticket holder will automatically forfeit the right to utilise the e-ticket(s) as part of the protection coverage.
To cancel physical tickets, please email [email protected] with your cancellation request. Within 48 hours, please ship the unused tickets along with their voucher (if applicable), back to Platinium Group and confirm the shipment with the tracking details. Platinium Group is not responsible for carrier fees.
ARTICLE 5 - LIMITATION OF POLICY
Platinium Group will issue a compensation of up to 100% of the price of the covered event ticket. Excluding fees such as instalment, handling, banking, delivery fees and all booking protection or flexi-option costs.
This Premium Booking Protection can only be added during the booking process.
The Premium booking protection needs to be added for each ticket that you would like to cover.
The maximum number of premium booking protections allowed has to match the number of products purchased. It is possible, however, to add fewer premium booking protections than tickets purchased. Once your order is confirmed, the Premium Booking Protection cannot be added afterwards.
Please refer to ARTICLE 2 for further limitations on exclusions to the policy.
ARTICLE 6 - EFFECT AND DURATION OF THE POLICY
The validity of the Premium Booking Protection Policy only extends to the specific covered event. It does not include any other seasonal or yearly recurring editions of the same event.
The coverage is effective from the day of ticket purchase for the covered event and it expires at midnight GMT+1 prior to the start of the covered event.
It is important to note that according to this policy, the coverage is not valid for any incidents that take place during the event itself. For more information on procedures related to a cancelled event or Force Majeure, please refer to ARTICLE 9 in our Terms & Conditions.
ARTICLE 7 - GOVERNING LAW
Any dispute related to the Premium Booking Protection Policy will be subjected to the jurisdiction of the Principality of Monaco.
Please note that this is not an insurance policy. A refund option, for any situation, is an extension to our Terms & Conditions, which outlines the specific circumstances in which you will be entitled to a refund.
